Dutch Club Team Championship 2006-2007, R3
13.11.2006 The Dutch Club Team competition scheme holds 10 teams with each 10 players playing nine rounds in the Meesterklasse (Premier league). R1 (23 September 2006) - R8 are on eight Saturdays on five different locations spread all over the country, and R9 (13 May 2007) is on a Sunday: a combined final round with all 100 players together. Contrary to 2005-2006, there will be no play-offs (top four playing for championship) in 2006-2007. The number one after R9 will be called Dutch Club Team Champion. The 2005-2006 winner U-Boat Worx (De Variant) withdrew from the championship. Groningen lost Hotels.nl as main sponsor but has attracted a new ambitious sponsor, Share Dimension, who does not only want to win the Dutch championship but also the European Club Cup (Kemer, TUR, October 2007). Frits Agterdenbos visited 11 November the R3 match Share Dimension Groningen – LSG to make a big photo report.

Playing venue was the Business Center in the Stadium of Football (Soccer!) Club FC Groningen, which is in the Euroborg. The Stadium is often referred to as 'The Green Cathedral', for obvious reasons.
