German Club Team Championship 2006-07 (Bundesliga)
23.11.2006 In the German Bundesliga (Premier League) 16 teams of 8 players each play for the Championship in a 15 rounds all-play-all. The German Bundesliga is seen as one of the strongest club team competitions of the world, don’t forget the Russian competition. Werder Bremen won the 2004-2005 championship after beating SG Porz in a play off. OSC Baden-Baden won the 2005-2006 championship. In 2006-2007 OSC Baden-Baden is favourite far out. Other likely candidates to win the title are SG Porz, SC Remagen, Bindlach-Aktionär and Werder Bremen. The 2006-2007 competition started 28 October 2006 and, in case no play off is needed, will finish 1 April 2007. In Round 3 (18 November 2006) the classic match SG Porz vs OSC Baden-Baden was played. SG Porz won 4½-3½.
