Chess Olympiad Torino Accreditation
20.05.2006 The Chess Olympiad in Torino (Turin) is about to start. The first round will be on Sunday 21 May 3.00 PM. This photo report by Frits Agterdenbos shows the arrival and the accreditation of the people involved: players, captains, arbiters, organizers, journalists. And it shows the Olympic Village, where almost everybody will be accommodated. More than 2000 people will stay in the Village. Not all organizational matters are solved yet, but what is new? Warming-up time is always needed. Most people are optimistic. “We will survive this Olympiad.”
