Season
25.12.2006 Christmas… these days we hear a lot about peace on earth for all human beings regardless of religion, ideology, race, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, or anything else. Like Christmas, chess is full of symbols and international language. ChessVista believes in the language of visualization, in the power of photos, because photography is an international language that makes people understand each other better. Chess brings people together. Today 25 Dec, there are tournaments in -amongst others- Pamplona (Spain) and Groningen (Netherlands). Tomorrow 26 Dec a lot of tournaments start. See for example the calendars of Harmen Jonkman, of the FIDE and of the USCF. In this report ChessVista sends you greetings from Heemstede (Netherlands), the residence of the photographer.
