Corus Chess 2007 Rest Day 1
17.01.2007 Today Wednesday 17 January is the first rest day. The players in groups A, B & C are taking a break. There are two more rest days to come: Monday 22 January and Thursday 25 January. So the schedule is: 4 games, rest, 4 games, rest, 2 games, rest, 3 games. Your photographer took a day off, being happy he had not to carry his camera equipment for another day in a row. Though ChessVista provides you with a few stock photos and two links to interesting websites. You can go for a 360 degrees virtual tour through the Corus Chess complex. And you can enjoy Mikhail Golubev’s analyses of Radjabov's games versus Van Wely (R1) and Shirov (R3). Tomorrow round 5 will be played. Radjabov (A), Smeets (B) and Nepomniachtchi (C) will be defending their 3.5 points leading positions.
