19.01.2007 Round 6 was played on Friday 19 January 01.30 PM. In group A Kramnik won the top match against Anand. The unlucky Shirov (vs Karjakin) lost again. The Dutch top match Van Wely vs Tiviakov was drawn. Radjabov leads on 5.0 points, followed by Topalov and Kramnik on 4.0 points. Next round 7 it is Anand’s job to oppose Radjabov. In Group B Eljanov defeated L’Ami taking the lead position on 4.5 points. Smeets and Vachier-Lagrave are on 4.0 points. In group C the amazing Nepomniachtchi (vs Van Haastert) won again. He is on 5.5 points. Negi, Krasenkow, Berg and Hou are on 4.0 points. Next round 7 Peng will try to stop Nepomniachtchi. The Dutch squadron (14 players) scored minus 3: 1.0/2 in A + 2.5/5 in B + 2.0/7 in C = 5.5/14.
