24.01.2007 Round 10 was played on Wednesday 24 January 01.30 PM. In group A Topalov increased the gap with Radjabov by defeating Carlsen, while Radjabov made a draw against Svidler. Anand won his second game in a row. The victim was Karjakin. Topalov leads on 7.5 points, followed by Radjabov on 6.5 points. Anand, Aronian, Svidler and Kramnik are on 6.0 points. In group B only one game was drawn. Vachier-Lagrave lost to Jakovenko, Bologan (vs Nijboer) and Eljanov (vs Smeets) both won. Bologan, Vachier-Lagrave and Eljanov lead on 6.5 points. In group C Nepomniachtchi (vs Spoelman) made his third draw. Hou Yifan lost to Willemze. Nepomniachtchi leads on 8.5 points, followed by Krasenkow on 7.5 points and Berg on 6.5 points. The Dutch squadron (14 players) scored even: 1.0/2 in A + 2.0/5 in B + 4.0/7 in C = 7.0/14. Today Manuel Bosboom (1963) turned 44. Tomorrow Thursday 25 January the players in groups A, B & C will be having a rest day.
