In the Final round he made a draw versus Friso Nijboer to finish on 5.5/6. Friso Nijboer, Patrick Driessens, Erik Van Den Doel and Jan Smeets followed on 5.0 points. The tournament attracted 143 participants (including 6 GMs and 5 IMs) in the main group plus 153 participants in the second group (Elo < 1900).
