ChessVista.com is the website of chess photographer Frits Agterdenbos. The site provides the international chess community with high quality chess photos and chess news of chess players from international chess events. There will be visual reports and an album with chess photo collections showing all the visual aspects of the chess world.
08.12.2007 The Bloemendaal Chess Festival was held Saturday 8 December 2007 in Overveen (Netherlands). The main event was the Lex Jongsma Invitational, a 8 player Round-Robin rapid tournament, organized to celebrate the 40 years jubilee of Lex Jongsma as chess journalist of the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf. The 8 players were Lex Jongsma and his chess friends GMs William Lombardy, Fridrik Olafsson and Vlastimil Hort and the Dutch players IM Hans Böhm, Rob Duijn, IM Rob Hartoch and Eddy Scholl. Hort won the tournament. One of the side events was an open rapid tournament (7 rounds, 66 participants), which was won by IM Piet Peelen on 6.5 points, followed by GM Dimitri Reinderman, Thomas Broek and Pieter Roggeveen on 6.0 points.
