ChessVista.com is the website of chess photographer Frits Agterdenbos. The site provides the international chess community with high quality chess photos and chess news of chess players from international chess events. There will be visual reports and an album with chess photo collections showing all the visual aspects of the chess world.01.07.2007 The ROC Nova College Weekend Tournament 2007 in Haarlem (Netherlands) took place 29 June – 1 July 2007. ChessVista’s 16.06.2006 report provided a survey of the Top 7 Weekend Tournaments (with first price EUR 1.000 or more) in the Netherlands in 2006, with Haarlem on top of all. When you want to go for the biggest price money in a Dutch weekend tournament, Haarlem is the city to visit. The 2007 first price was EUR 1.350, like in 2006. The 2007 edition saw GMs Stelios Halkias and Aleksandar Berelovich winning on 5.5/6 points. They were followed by Friso Nijboer, Igor Glek, Yochanan Afek, Ton Timman and Xander Schouwerwou on 5.0 points. The tournament attracted around 160 participants.
