ChessVista.com is the website of chess photographer Frits Agterdenbos. The site provides the international chess community with high quality chess photos and chess news of chess players from international chess events. There will be visual reports and an album with chess photo collections showing all the visual aspects of the chess world.24.02.2008 The Semi-Finals of the Dutch Championship 2008 is a 32-player knockout. There are three rounds: round 1 (32 players) on 5+6 January, round 2 (16 players) on 23+24 February and round 3 (8 players) on 25+26 February. The tournament format holds (for each round) matches comprising two games per round, plus tiebreak games in case the scores are level after two games. Four players will go to the Finals (the Dutch Championship 2008) which will take place 2-13 April in Hilversum. The eight players going to round 3 are: Ruud Janssen, Merijn Van Delft, Yge Visser, Jan-Willem De Jong, Jeroen Bosch, Manuel Bosboom, Robin Swinkels and Herman Grooten. The Semi-Finals of the Dutch Women Championship 2008 is a 16-player knockout: round 1 (16 players) on 5+6 January and round 2 (8 players) on 23+24 February, after which four players proceed to the Finals. The four players are: Pauline Van Nies, Talitha Munnik, Anne Haast and Martine Middelveld.
