37th Allshare Amsterdam Go Tournament
04.05.2008 Hong Seul-Ki (7d) from Korea/Germany has won the 37th Allshare Amsterdam Go Tournament which took place 1-4 May 2008 in the European Go Cultural Centre EGCC in Amstelveen, the Netherlands. The event, one of the strongest on the Dutch Go agenda and one of Europe’s main weekend Go tournaments, was a six rounds McMahon tournament with time limit: 1˝ hours, Canadian byo-yomi, 10 stones in 5 minutes. The tournament is a major tournament of the Pandanet European Go Cup series 2008-2009. The winner Hong Seul-Ki, who remainded undefeated, took the 500 euro first prize. Zou Jin finished second, Ondrej Silt finished third. Two professional players were available for commentary during the tournament: Kang Seung-Hee (2p, Korea/Germany) and Guo Juan (5p, China/Netherlands).
