Dutch Club Team Championship 2007-08, R9
17.05.2008 The Dutch Club Competition Premier League final round (R9), a combined round with all 100 players together, took place on 17 May in the Town Hall of Hilversum. HSG (Hilversum) already had secured the 2007-2008 title in R8. In R9 HSG (Magnus Carlsen, Jan Smeets, Daniel Stellwagen, Predrag Nikolic, Yasser Seirawan and others) defeated the 2006-2007 champion Hotels.nl (Groningen) 7.5-2.5 finishing with 18 match points. Schrijvers Rotterdam took second place (14 match points) by defeating LSG 2. Hotels.nl finished third with 12 match points. HMC Calder (Erik Van Den Doel, Rustam Kasimdzanov and others) finished fourth (10 match points). In the 2008-2009 competition Voerendaal and BSG will take the places of LSG 2 and HWP Sas van Gent (relegated). Photo impression 17 May by Frits Agterdenbos.
