Bloemendaal Chess Festival 2008
07.12.2008 The Dutch IM Robert Ris has won the Bloemendaal Chess Festival 2008 which was held Saturday 6 December in the Bloemendaal Town Hall in Overveen (Netherlands). The tournament (Swiss open rapid, 7 rounds, 20 minutes per person per game), organized by Chess Club Bloemendaal, attracted 84 participants including 3 GMs and 5 IMs. Final Standings (top): 1.Robert Ris (6 points, 34.5 Buchholz score) 2.Piet Peelen (6 points, 32.5 Bs) 3.Rob Bertholee (6 points, 29 Bs) 4.Vyacheslav Ikonnikov ( 5.5 points, 36 Bs) 5.Richard Duijn (5.5 points, 30,5 Bs) 6.Lennart Dek (5.5 punt, 30 Bs) 7.Michiel Bosman (5.5 points, 29 Bs) 8.Dimitri Reinderman (5.5 points, 28.5 Bs).
