Wijk aan Zee 2010 – the Day Before
14.01.2010 The 72th Corus Chess Tournament (‘Wijk aan Zee’) will be held Saturday 16 – Sunday 31 January. The Opening Ceremony will take place on Friday 15 January in the Chess Pavilion (commentary hall), close to the playing venue. Participants GM A (category 19): Carlsen, Anand, Kramnik, Ivanchuk, Leko, Shirov, Karjakin, Dominguez, Nakamura, Short, Caruana, Tiviakov, Smeets, Van Wely. Participants GM B (category 16): Naiditsch, Nisipeanu, Harikrishna, Hua Ni, Sutovsky, So, Nyback, Akobian, Negi, l’Ami, Howell, Giri, Reinderman, A.Muzychuk.
