ChessVista.com is the website of chess photographer Frits Agterdenbos. The site provides the international chess community with high quality chess photos and chess news of chess players from international chess events. There will be visual reports and an album with chess photo collections showing all the visual aspects of the chess world.
07.05.2010 The Dutch Junior Championships 2010 (14-20 years) are taking place 29 April – 8 May in Haarlem, the Netherlands. There are 6 groups. Group A Juniors (boys and girls, born after 31 December 1990). Group A Girls (girls, born after 31 December 1990). Group B Juniors (boys and girls, born after 31 December 1994). Group B Girls (girls, born after 31 December 1994). Group C Juniors (boys and girls, born after 31 December 1996). Group C Girls (girls, born after 31 December 1996). In the penultimate round (R8) Anne Haast, the only girl in Group A Juniors, defeated top ranked David Klein. Lars Ootes and Yorick Ten Hagen became the new leaders by defeating FM Benjamin Bok and Nicky Law respectively. Marieke Dirksen and Lisa Hortensius lead Group A Girls.
