Wijk aan Zee - Tata Steel Chess - Preview
09.01.2011 The Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2011 will be held 15-30 January 2011 in Wijk aan Zee (Netherlands). The opening ceremony is on 14 January in the Tata Steel Chess Pavilion (commentary hall), close to the playing venue De Moriaan.
Group A (category 20) will show Carlsen, Anand, Aronian, Kramnik, Grischuk, Nakamura, Ponomariov, Nepomniachtchi, Wang Hao, Shirov, Vachier-Lagrave, Giri, Smeets and l'Ami.
Group B (category 17) will show Wojtaszek, Navara, Fressinet, Efimenko, So, Sargissian, Le Quang Liem, McShane, Ganguly, Li Chao, Hammer, Tkachiev, Nijboer and Spoelman.
Group C (category 11) will show Kazhgaleyev, Ivanisevic, Bluvshtein, Vocaturo, Swiercz, Nyzhnyk, Lahno, Pruijssers, Bok, Van Kampen, Siebrecht, Van Der Werf, De Jong and Sachdev.
