ChessVista.com is the website of chess photographer Frits Agterdenbos. The site provides the international chess community with high quality chess photos and chess news of chess players from international chess events. There will be visual reports and an album with chess photo collections showing all the visual aspects of the chess world.
30.01.2011 The final round (round 13) of Tata Steel Chess 2011 took place in Wijk aan Zee on Sunday 30 January.
Group A was won by Hikaru Nakamura with 9.0/13 points, after drawing against Wang Hao. World champion Viswanathan Anand finished second with 8.5 points after a draw versus Maxime Vachier-Lagrave. In fact all games in Group A ended in a draw. Levon Aronian and Magnus Carlsen finished third with 8.0 points. Sixteen-year-old super talent Anish Giri of Holland scored a respectable 6.5 points (50%). In
Group B Luke McShane and David Navara scored both 8.5 points. Luke McShane was declared winner of Group B on Sonneborn-Berger. Both players will receive an invitation to participate in Group A next year. Zahar Efimenko finished third with 8.0 points. Daniele Vocaturo won
Group C with 8.5 points after a draw against Ilya Nyzhnyk, who finished second with 8.0 points. Kateryna Lahno finished third with 8.0 points. The
