ChessVista.com is the website of chess photographer Frits Agterdenbos. The site provides the international chess community with high quality chess photos and chess news of chess players from international chess events. 27.02.2011 German GM Gerald Hertneck has won the 3rd Batavia-Grolsch Chess Tournament. The ten player Round Robin tournament (3 GMs + 7 IMs) took place 18-27 February 2011 in Cafe Batavia 1920 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Hertneck, last-minute subsitute for Dibyendu Barua, scored 6.5/9 points. Dutch IM Robin van Kampen finished second on 6.0, missing a GM norm by half a point. Main sponsor of the tournament is Dutch beer brewery Grolsch. The tournament is the brainchild of Bas Beekhuizen (chess photographer) and sponsor Peter Tames (Cafe Batavia 1920). Final standings: 1.Gerald Hertneck 6.5, 2.Robin van Kampen 6.0, 3.Benjamin Bok and Bart Michiels 5.5, 5.Niaz Murshed and Merijn van Delft 4.5, 7.Christov Kleijn 4.0, 8.
