ChessVista.com is the website of chess photographer Frits Agterdenbos. The site provides the international chess community with high quality chess photos and chess news of chess players from international chess events. There will be visual reports and an album with chess photo collections showing all the visual aspects of the chess world.
03.07.2011 GMs Matthew Sadler and Erik Van Den Doel have won the ROC Nova College Weekend Tournament 2011, which took place 1-3 July 2011 in Haarlem, Netherlands. The 2011 (10th) edition of the tournament attracted 181 participants (2010: 120, 2009: 151, 2008: 126, 2007: 160) including 6 GMs and 3 IMs. Matthew Sadler and Erik Van Den Doel scored 5.0/6 in Group A (elo>1950, 58 participants). They were followed by IM Christov Kleijn, 16-year-old WIM Lisa Schut (performance 2562!) and GM Das Neeloptal on 4.5 points. Six players including GM Vyacheslav Ikonnikov finished on 4.0 points. GMs Stewart Haslinger and John Van Der Wiel, among others, scored 3.5 points. Group B (elo<2000, 84 participants) was won by Mees van Osch, Noud Lentjes and Jonathan de Kleuver, and Group C (elo<1650, 39 participants) was won by Floris Schleicher.
