Group A: Magnus Carlsen rejoined Levon Aronian in the lead by defeating Boris Gelfand, while the Armenian made a draw against Vassily Ivanchuk. Both players are on 5.0/7. Teimour Radjabov (draw against Hikaru Nakamura) is third with 4.5 points. Four players share fourth place with four points: Fabiano Caruana, Anish Giri, Vassily Ivanchuk and Hikaru Nakamura. Group B: Pentala Harikrishna remains sole leader with 5.5 points after a draw versus Vladimir Potkin. Alexander Motylev (draw versus Harika Dronavalli) is second with 4.5 points.
