Group A: There was only one decisive game: Vugar Gashimov defeated Anish Giri. Magnus Carlsen (draw versus Teimour Radjabov) and Levon Aronian (draw versus Veselin Topalov) continue to share the lead, with 5.5/8 points. Teimour Radjabov is third with 5.0 points. Three players share fourth place with 4.5 points: Fabiano Caruana, Vassily Ivanchuk and Hikaru Nakamura. Group B: The Indian Pentala Harikrishna is still leading (6.0 points) after drawing against Sergey Tiviakov. He is followed by Alexander Motylev (5.5 points) who defeated Daniele Vocaturo. Lazaro Bruzon and Erwin L’Ami both won their games and share third place with 5.0 points. Illya Nyzhnyk is fifth on 4.5 points.
