There will be visual reports and an album with chess photo collections showing all the visual aspects of the chess world.10.08.2012 Viktor Korchnoi has won the CEG versus Legendaries (CEG contre Legendes) chess tournament, which took place 4-10 August in Geneva (Switzerland). Five former World Championship candidates (the Legendaries: Ulf Andersson, Vlastimil Hort, Viktor Korchnoi, Zoltan Ribli and Kevin Spraggett) played against five players of Switzerland (Alexandre Domont, Bastien Dubessay, Richard Gerber, Lars Rindlisbacher and Alexandre Vuilleumier) in a double round Scheveningen system tournament. Viktor Korchnoi, Kevin Spraggett and Zoltan Ribli all scored 7.0/10, but Korchnoi was declared winner on a better Sonneborn-Berger individual score. Spraggett finished second and Ribli third. The tournament was organized by the Chess Club of Geneva (Club d'Echecs de Genève) in the Swissôtel Métropole, a five star hotel located in the chic shopping area with a view over the Lac Léman.
